Say Cheese, Please!

What's the best way to learn about cheese?  To eat it!  Lots of it! 

Little ones will get cheesy with cooking teacher and curd nerd Cheyenne Terbrueggen from Elephants Delicatessen, learning about and tasting different kinds of cheese (even stinky cheese, ewww!) and the animals that make it.  Solid food-eating kids of all ages are welcome.  Advance sign-up is appreciated.

Musical Moms (& Dads & Grandparents, too!)

This gathering, designed for moms/dads-to-be and new parents alike, will be led by Julia Vaara, a postpartum doula and lactation specialist with special training in the benefits of sharing music with your child from an early age.  You'll learn tips about new baby care and feeding (bring your questions!), dust off those familiar lullabies and learn new songs to sing/play for your baby.

New Parent Support Group

Being a parent is both joyful and challenging. Join us for a new parent support group where you'll meet other caretakers to discuss navigating those joys and challenges while building a sense of community.  A scale will also be provided so you can obtain your baby's current weight. The group is facilitated by Winn Asay, IBCLC of Artemis Lactation. Winn, a "breastfeeding expert," also teaches classes in conjunction with Nursing Mothers Counsel and Legacy Health. This group is designed for caregivers of newborns to babies 12 months old.

$5 suggested donation; all proceeds will be directed to Nursing Mothers Counsel of Oregon.

Yoga Family

Using the power of yoga, storytelling and imagination, we will embark on a yoga-inspired, magical adventure with Yoga Continuum teacher, Jacquie Hill.  Toddlers will get their wiggles out, connect with their caregiver and themselves, increase their self-awareness and mindfulness, build strength and confidence, socialize, and have fun!

This class is designed for children 3 years and older.

Yoga Tots
